The Danny Sharp series ‘Time and Again’
Set in a realistic Late Iron Age and the modern day, ‘Time and Again’ is a hard-hitting adventure full of action.
Danny Sharp thought he and his family were ordinary. When he discovered the hidden portal to the past, he realised he had been mistaken all his life. The secret language which he had thought just a game, was the language of the ancients. The whole family was deeply entwined with the past. Torn between the excitement of the past and his duties in the present, Danny must weave his way through intricate social tangles in both time sets, avoiding, if possible, violent solutions. Danny’s journey from youth to manhood, with conflicting responsibilities and loyalties in both times, is set out with sparkling Iron Age detail.

The Main Story
Danny is now 20, and has put his Iron Age adventures behind him. Training to be a paramedic at Sheffield Hallam University, no-one knows of his troubled history, though he is still haunted by the things he has seen and done. Nothing could prepare him for what is about to happen.
Book 6 Past Imperative Blue Light
Beneath the surface of Danny Sharp’s seemingly normal life, lies history darker than any of his new friends at Sheffield University could imagine. Danny has to live with decisions he made a long time ago. He still mourns the loss not only of his father but of a second family he scarcely had time to know.
His aunt Moira has married detective Ken Raynes who five years ago helped rescue Danny’s Mother and arrested Kevin Wilcox, calling himself Kuillok. Kevin was unfit for trial - his story was full of wild Celtic warriors, Iron Age chiefs and battles.
Danny is trying to shake off the past and make a new life for himself. But the past is about to explode onto the scene in a manner no-one could have predicted.
Danny has no idea how complicated his life is about to become!
Book 7 Present Imperative House or Home.
Thrust once more into the dangerous intrigues of the late Iron Age, Danny’s childhood impressions are being tested. Tasgo is back as Chief of Seahome, but warring factions conspire against him. As tensions tighten, Danny and Tasgo try to rebuild old relationships and forge new ones strong enough to hold back bloodshed and battle. He must rise to the new dangers facing them, here and in the modern day and maybe time is running out for Danny.
Book 8 Past and Present – Bloodlines
Iron Age Tasgo has regained his position of Chief of Seahome, but tensions linger under the surface. He and Danny must forge their way through dangerous political entanglements, both within the village and further afield. Danny faces serious personal problems, both in the Iron Age, and in the Modern, where Kelly’s wedding plans hit snags. Even the blade-for-hire, Kelwyn, has to admit women can be difficult, especially as bloodlines can pave the way to power.
